My name is Jessica Jelvin and I currently live a few miles from Gothenburg City in Sweden. I am 20 years old and have my own company 'Jelvin Enterprises', but right now I'm studying acting at Wendelsbergs Folkhögskola, to improve my acting skills and move on to higher levels of acting in Sweden.
We don’t know if we have found our way to heaven when it comes to restaurants. First night we ended up at a Pizzeria, but they had the best pizza I’ve ever tried.
But last night was awful. The restaurant that the hotel recommended was closed, so we went to another restaurant. We ordered two things from the menu that they didn’t even have or could do. So we just said “Sorry, we can’t eat here” and walked away. So we found our way to another pizzeria, yummie.
Our lunches have been great everyday, but that’s no fun writing ;)
When we got up this morning we went down to the breakfast. Which I didn’t expect much from, guess that was good. But the breakfast actually was really nice!
There was a whole table full of fruit like banana, pineapple, strawberries and other really nice things. A whole table with desserts. Scrambled eggs, Italian ham and lots of more things. There was a barista there who made our choice of coffee, I took a cappuccino with soy milk.
After a 10 minutes getting-settled-time we went out to go shopping. We didn’t know where to go so we asked the staff at our hotel, as always they were very helpful. They told us to go to the cathedral, which is locaded one street away from the hotel, and that all the things we had to do we could do there.
After a really short walk I realized that the closest Prada store was located half a mile (500 meter) from our hotel. Lucky me. I told my mom “we just found our way to heaven”. I did some shopping and I’ll post pic when I get back home to Sweden on Monday.
But stay tuned for more updates during my stay here in Milan. Love, J
Ohh, we have a free Internet access point on our hotel so mom and I decided to be brave enough to try it!
When we arrived to Milan we didn’t know how to get to the four star hotel that we are staying at so we asked in the information desk and the only thing she said was: Take the bus, it’s 2 Euro. So we did, but the problem was that we didn’t know where to get of the bus and how to get to the hotel from the bus station. Oh well, the bus dropped us of at the City Central and we took a cab from there.
At the hotel everyone was very helpful, they carried our luggage and was smiling all the time, guess it’s because we paid a lot of money to stay there!? ;) haha….
Our hotelroom is really nice, we have a jaccuzzi and mirrors everywhere, so there’s no problem for us to get ready and all that thing girls have to do.
Here’s my travel outfit, love it. I really comfortable skirt from Miss J and the other things are from different places which I cannot remember right now ;P
The interview yesterday was fun. But it was difficult to answer all the questions without over thinking too much. But I don’t even know if I want to be a part of the hole thing because I’m scared that I wont get any jobs because of over publicity. Oh well, maybe they don’t even want me?!
I have a business-meeting in Stockholm City today with a friend. It’s going to be a lot of serious talk but also some gossip and “what’s been going on“-talk.
When I have to work 8 hours every day and keep myself busy after work with getting my new company going it’s a lot of work and less of the things that life is, like having fun, shopping, going to the cinema, party etc. But to live my life the best way possible I have to think what I want in the future. If I keep working 8 hours every day without working after hours I’m going to do the same thing 10 years from now. So what I do is to get myself together and try to figure out how to get money rolling in to my account without my presens.
