She’s the ONLY woman in Hollywood who could open a movie this big!
Angelina Jolie starrer Salt is expected to garner $35 million through Sunday, but Inception is still edging ahead.
On Friday, Salt earned $12.7 million while Inception crept ahead with $13.2 million.
Some say that the two could be fighting it out for the top spot all weekend. And we are hoping Salt gets a big turnout because we’re gunning for a sequel.
We’ll take all the Angie we can get!
We love how honest she’s being while promoting Salt — it’s fascinating!
Angelina Jolie recently revealed that she definitely has a dark side, as if we didn’t know! She says:
“There’s certainly a side of me that isn’t completely…sane. Or completely ‘even’ all the time. We all have our dark sides. I grew up in front of everybody, really. The big years of exploration. There was a certain madness I was going through. I learned a lot about myself.
“People tend to sum up times in your life and simplify. I would say there’s a way of being bold when you’re young that seems very brave. … What’s perceived as tough is a very funny thing. I think to be a parent is one of the scariest, boldest things to do, as opposed to, um, getting a tattoo. … Much more than jumping into a pool when you’re 20.”

We assumed because she already said she’d do it, they’d jump on the chance to make a sequel – regardless of whether or not it’s good!
Since Angelina Jolie has already essentially said that she’d make a sequel to her new action flick, Salt, its director Phillip Noyce isconfirming that there will be a Salt II in a few years!
And you know the money will go to a good cause!
The parent company of the UK’s News of the World will play anundisclosed amount to settle a lawsuit after the paper claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were legally separating and negotiating custody arrangements for their children!
