Zac is Parade Magazine’s cover boy this month and in his interview, he talks about Charlie St. Cloud, his ball and chain and more!

Here are some of the HIGHlights:

What attracted him to such a sobering role: “Every once in awhile, you read a script and you get that special feeling in your gut. I was touched by what the character, Charlie, goes through, and I thought it was a story worth sharing. And the fact that I have a little brother myself gave it a lot of resonance.”

Growing up, his parents noticed that he had an uncanny knack for imitating any song on the radio: “I still like to sing along with whatever I’m listening to. I just got a pretty good sound system put in, and it’s playing on a loop all day. If I don’t have music on, I get this weird kind of anxiety. I don’t like to be home alone without something playing.”

Luckily, he has help from “girlfriend” VaneXXXa Hudgens: “I’m not neat by nature, but I’m kind of figuring it out — and Vanessa helps out a lot. Right now, we’re doing great and just having a lot of fun together.”

Was he a part of a clique in school like his character in High School Musical? “I never noticed them in my own high school. And if there were cliques, I probably intermixed with all of them. I was probably what you’d call a floater.”

Sigh. Be still our throbbing, aroused, uh, hearts!

The parent company of the UK’s News of the World will play anundisclosed amount to settle a lawsuit after the paper claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were legally separating and negotiating custody arrangements for their children!

Brangelina’s lawyer revealed that Rupert Murdoch’s News Group Newspapers accepted that the claims were “false and intrusive.”

Brad and Ange didn’t show up in court as they had more important things to do like looking hot together on the red carpet for the Saltpremiere, but they will be donating the money for legal costs and pay damages to their charity the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

We wouldn’t expect anything less!

At Comic-Con yesterday, Max Brooks, author of the zombie horror novel, World War Z, announced that Brad Pitt was attached to start in the film adaptation of the book. In fact, it was Brad’s production company that grabbed the rights to the book back in 2007 and withParamount now optioning the rights, it seems like the project will be underway soon.

The author revealed that Paramount is aiming for a summer 2012 release.

We don’t exactly know if Brad will actually be playing a zombie, but even if he does, he’s still going to look super fine!

Warner Bros. has picked up an untitled Jason Filardi workplace comedy for none other than Zac Efron to star in and produce! The movie will also reunite the team behind Zac’s 17 Again.

Zac set up his production company at Warner Bros in February, but he has been setting it up since then with his manager Jason Barrett. The company is called Ninjas Runnin’ Wild Prods.

In a new interview with Great Britain’s The Daily Mirror, Robert Pattinson touches on a number of topics.

We’ll get to those momentarily, but first props must be given to the actor for calling out Courtney Love.

Asked about the rumor that he was up for the role of Kurt Cobain in an upcoming biopic, Pattinson said he never considered it – and then blasted Love for her negative remarks (when she referred to that possibility as “stupid”) in April.

“You see all these comments, like from Courtney Love, saying ’What the f*ck! He’s totally wrong for it’, and I’m like, ’I f*cking said no, you d*ck!’ I didn’t get offered it. For one thing, I’m too tall, and I can’t sing like him, I’m nothing like him!’ It’s ridiculous.”

You go, boy!

Pattinson was also asked about similarities to Edward, along with his next movie,Bel Ami. Excerpts from the interview follow:

On identifying with Edward: It’s changed a bit in this film. In the first two, I guess there was his feeling that you can’t relate to anyone, or no one can relate to you. I was like, ’I never want to talk to anyone’. I used to feel like that when I was younger. I’ve grown up now.

On his next role: There’s something fun about Bel Ami, going from Edward to some guy who pretty much abuses women to get money out of them. Edward so wouldn’t approve – and I thought that was a funny irony.

On other career aspirations: I want to produce a film. It would be so satisfying to turn up to work and not have to go into costume or make-up. You stand behind the monitor and don’t even have the responsibility of the director.

On Kristen Stewart: I can’t wait to marry her.

C Love quickly shot down the rumors, saying it would be “stupid” and “just wrong” for the Twilight hunk to play the part. Seems like R-Patz doesn’tdisagree, but still is pissed at Courtney for making such a fuss.

R-Patz recently commented on the report, saying:

“I love Nirvana, but I love them a bit too much – I’d be embarrassed [to play Kurt Cobain]. I didn’t get offered it. For one thing, I’m too tall, and I can’t sing like him, I’m nothing like him. It’s ridiculous … You see all these comments, like from Courtney Love, saying, ‘What the fuck! He’s totally wrong for it’, and I’m like, ‘I fucking said no, you dick!”

Hell yes! Catfight between the palest bitches in Hollywood!

We actually thought he would have been a decent Cobain. Once you get past the Twilight shiz, he is a pretty decent actor. And Courtney girl, do you have something against making millions of dollars??? His sweet face and tousled hair bring in the big $$$!

When asked if she would consider playing the villain Maleficent in a reworked spin-off of Sleeping Beauty, Angie replied:

“I would love to. It’s all new and being discussed, but I loved her when I was a little girl. She was my favorite. Tim Burton, the chance to work with him would be extraordinary.”

Today has been a stressful day with lots and lots of work. It didn’t start up good with me oversleeping 1 and a half hour. Gash. When I finally got to work there was much to do. Very very busy. When I finally was done working at the office I headed down to Stockholm City where I had to do some other work things. Ugh, but what I have to do to study acting is what I have to do. When I was in the city I found a pair of tights that I love! I also bought a nice base top which I will show you ASAP! I met up with my boyfriend and we headed to Kista where we attended a business meeting. Shit, I really have things to do every day at all hours. Before the business meeting I went to a store and found chinos on sale.

I’m finally home and I have to finish some things here on internet. And I still want to have time to write about my everyday struggle and, of course, all the shopping and good things in life!

Instead, we’ll marvel at the fact that KStew DOESN’T look like some peed in her Cheerios! An improvement!

20th Century Fox has their eye on Taylor Lautner to star in X-Men: First Class!

The studio has checked the actor’s availability before offering theTwilight hunk a role.

James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender have already been tapped to play Professor X and Magneto in the film that’s expected to start shooting this summer.

The targeted release date is June 3, 2011.

We think Taylor would be a fool to pass this up — the X-Menfranchise is huge and we think he’s perfect for it!
