The award-winning actress’ latest film, Salt, secured her a nice, solid $20 million – a paycheck that only a few MALE actors can even make on one film!

Lori Watson, director of Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of San Diego, says:

“The fact that she is in the entertainment industry and can approach a male salary is an anomaly. Maybe she can command a salary, but she can’t break through the expectations that women are supposed to be beautiful and sexualized and fit a certain mold and behave in a certain way.”

Hey, we think being able to make that kind of money says something!

Especially when she has enough pull to have an entire action movie re-worked from a male lead to a female just to give her the part!

“I think if we can keep up the mystery and find another really great story, I’ll be back.

Salt is really fun in that she’s got so much depth because of her childhood and her life and a lot of what she’s gone through. She’s nicely complex. I love the possibility of the different disguises and different personalities and accents. It’s kind of like a playground for an actor, that kind of role.”

Warner Bros. has picked up an untitled Jason Filardi workplace comedy for none other than Zac Efron to star in and produce! The movie will also reunite the team behind Zac’s 17 Again.

Zac set up his production company at Warner Bros in February, but he has been setting it up since then with his manager Jason Barrett. The company is called Ninjas Runnin’ Wild Prods.

In a new interview with Great Britain’s The Daily Mirror, Robert Pattinson touches on a number of topics.

We’ll get to those momentarily, but first props must be given to the actor for calling out Courtney Love.

Asked about the rumor that he was up for the role of Kurt Cobain in an upcoming biopic, Pattinson said he never considered it – and then blasted Love for her negative remarks (when she referred to that possibility as “stupid”) in April.

“You see all these comments, like from Courtney Love, saying ’What the f*ck! He’s totally wrong for it’, and I’m like, ’I f*cking said no, you d*ck!’ I didn’t get offered it. For one thing, I’m too tall, and I can’t sing like him, I’m nothing like him!’ It’s ridiculous.”

You go, boy!

Pattinson was also asked about similarities to Edward, along with his next movie,Bel Ami. Excerpts from the interview follow:

On identifying with Edward: It’s changed a bit in this film. In the first two, I guess there was his feeling that you can’t relate to anyone, or no one can relate to you. I was like, ’I never want to talk to anyone’. I used to feel like that when I was younger. I’ve grown up now.

On his next role: There’s something fun about Bel Ami, going from Edward to some guy who pretty much abuses women to get money out of them. Edward so wouldn’t approve – and I thought that was a funny irony.

On other career aspirations: I want to produce a film. It would be so satisfying to turn up to work and not have to go into costume or make-up. You stand behind the monitor and don’t even have the responsibility of the director.

On Kristen Stewart: I can’t wait to marry her.

Sources tell OK! Weekly the two stars have grown close over the last few weeks, as they attended a King of Leon concert together recently and “there was definitely something going on, but it’s not serious,” says an insider.

Another source – who refers to Green as a “maneater” – says Joe is “smitten” with the actress, but the feelings aren’t exactly reciprocated: “I think he wants it to be more than she does right now.”

Jonas is coming off a break-up with Demi Lovato, while Greene has been linked romantically to guitarist Jared Followill. If these two ever did get together, they’d have solid nickname potential.

In just one weekend, things went sour for Lindsay Lohan and her new lawyer.

We’re hearing that as of today, Lindsay is without legalrepresentation. As to what happened to her newly appointed dupeStuart V. Goldberg – there are two sides to that story.

Team Goldberg attests that the Lohans were expecting him to work for FREE! He claims that after a meeting with LiLo, Orange Oprah, and Ali on Friday night, Stuart received a phone call from Lindsay’sbusiness manager telling him that they just couldn’t afford him. That was all Stuart needed to hear to bow out.

However, according to Team CrazyTown Lohan, Lindsay and Dina decided to let him go because they consider him to be a little, oh, out there should we say. Apparently, driving around in a car with alicense plate that reads “Snake Charmer” doesn’t really appeal to the Lohan’s sensitive nature.

So who’s next at the legal plate for Lindsay? We’re hearing LiLo is pulling out he big guns and looking into fame lawyer, Robert Shapiro. You know, that guy who got O.J. Simpson acquitted for murdering his wife!

If he can pull that one off, Lindsay might just stay free! But the real question is, is Robert prepared to work for that amount???

The reason? Rob’s alleged inappropriate behavior with co-star Anna Kendrick, which was caught on camera and over which Kristen confronted her man – on the red carpet of the Eclipse premiere!

Somehow – despite the presence of nearly every magazine, newspaper and cameraman in the country at the event – the only publication to notice this “breakdown” was random Australian rag Famous. But, hey, it must be true.

Just like Jessica Simpson’s confirmed pregnancy, tabloids don’t just make up cover stories out of thin air, do they?

Pattinson and Stewart looked quite happy and cozy when they surprised Eclipsefans in Los Angeles Monday night. Could that all have been an act?!?

As pictured below, the couple was also spotted at Hotel Café in Hollywood yesterday, attending a Sam Bradley concert.

Rob does look especially somber, but we’re gonna chalk that up to paparazzi invading his personal space, not pointy, imaginary love triangles stabbing him in the heart…

On her relationship with Brad:

“The children certainly tie us together, but a relationship won’t hold if it’s only about the kids. You also must be really interested in each other and have a really, really wonderful, exciting time together. We do. Brad and I love being together. We enjoy it. We need it, and we always find that special time. We stay connected. We talk about it. It’s very important.

“If Brad and I are strong and happy, then our kids have happy parents, and that’s the best thing we can give them. Brad knows me completely, exactly as I am, every part of me. He loves me.
