Remember that recent Lady GaGa incident in Shea Stadium? The whole flipping the bird and all?

Well, free bitch just inspired the Mets’ marketing team!

The Mets are biting off the publicity of GaGa’s middle finger yet again – to start a campaign for their third baseman, David Wright, to get into All-Star Game.

In a “mocking” move, the stadium will hand out over-sized blue foam fingers (index, not middle – Boo) with the slogan “Make Wright #1″ at Wednesday’s game.

Get there early if you want one – only the first 20,000 get one.

If David gets in, you all know who to thank!
