YES — they better be good!
Paramount Pictures has yet to officially announce it, but supposedly production of a Mean Girls sequel is set to begin in Atlanta this summer!
But it’s being produced by “Paramount Famous Productions” which released Van Wilder: Freshman Year so it’s probably going to be a direct to DVD release.
Lame.
BUT another follow-up is also rumored to be in the works called Mean Moms!
Dara and Chad Creasey will write the Mean Moms screenplay about a “happily married mother of two who moves from small town America to the high class suburbs and is faced with confronting the cut throat world of competitive parenting.”
None of the characters from the original will appear in either of the sequels though.
