Ah-ha! Sneaky, sneaky Emma Watson!

The LOVELY Harry Potter actress recently debuted a much shorter, chic pixie cut, and now it’s being reported that part of the reason she went for such a drastic new look is because she’s in the running to play the much-coveted role of Lisbeth in the adaptation of the best-selling novel The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo!

A source explains:

“Emma has auditioned with director David Fincher and cut her hair to look the part. The character of Lisbeth is a misfit goth-type girl with spikey hair.”

Looks like she’s seriously trying to break away from HermioneGranger!

Regardless of why she did it, we approve of this new look! She looks fantastic!
